How we help

When a vehicle develops a vibration or unusual noise, the driveshaft is often the culprit. That’s where Rocky Mountain Driveline comes in.

Case Studies

Our Equipment

At Rocky Mountain Driveline, every driveshaft we sell is built and inspected by experts who care about quality not quotas. The mass produced driveshafts sold through big box part stores are often made offshore, where the focus is on volume instead of precision. Quality checks are minimal, fitment issues are common, and you end up paying higher for a lower quality product.

On top of that, most parts stores only stock a limited selection of driveshafts. If they don’t have yours on the shelf, you’re stuck waiting days for a generic replacement that may not fit.

We take the opposite approach. Our driveshafts are built with tighter tolerances, higher quality components, and verified balance and fit before they ever reach your hands. You’ll also get better pricing, faster turnaround, and real technical support from people who specialize in driveshafts not general auto parts.

The Benefits of Rebuilding a Driveshaft:

Rebuilding your driveshaft is a cost-effective alternative to a full replacement. Not every driveshaft needs to be replaced. Many issues can be resolved with a rebuild. If your driveshaft is vibrating or showing early signs of wear, addressing it promptly can save you money and prevent further damage.

A typical rebuild includes replacing u-joints and other non-welded components, along with precision balancing to restore smooth operation. With our one day turnaround, you can have your driveshaft rebuilt quickly, getting you back on the road faster and saving money compared to a full replacement.

We can also estimate your driveshaft to determine what’s more cost effective-a rebuild or a replacement so you can make the best decision for your vehicle and your budget.

Rebuilds That Outperform OEM

Unlike mass-produced factory driveshafts that often mask imperfections with added weight, we straighten every tube, then balance it to minimize vibration and extend lifespan. Our rebuilt driveshafts consistently outperform OEM standards.

New Driveshafts

When time is critical, we supply new driveshafts quickly to get vehicles back on the road. Whether light-duty or heavy-duty, we keep stock and production ready for fast turnaround.

Components & Parts

For repair shops that handle installation themselves, we supply high-quality driveshaft components with the same precision as our complete builds.

Customization & Volume Orders

From one-off repairs for local auto shops to bulk orders for nationwide fleets, we scale our service to fit customer needs.

The result: stronger, better-balanced, longer-lasting driveshafts.

Jeep Measurements

In order to get the correct Jeep driveshaft to you and without extra work to find out the transfer case model all we need is a crimp to crimp measurement. See below for an example.

In this example the circle represents the crimp. Go from one crimp to the other crimp. NOT overall length

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a driveshaft do in a vehicle?

A driveshaft transfers power from the engine and transmission to the wheels. Without a properly functioning driveshaft, vehicles experience vibrations, noise, or complete loss of power transfer.

Common signs include vibrations at certain speeds, unusual clunking noises, or difficulty turning. If you notice these issues, bring your vehicle to a trusted shop — Rocky Mountain Driveline can provide the rebuilds, replacements, or components your shop needs.

We do not remove or install driveshafts in vehicles. Instead, we work with automotive repair shops, heavy-duty dealers, and fleets to supply or rebuild driveshafts. If you’re a vehicle owner, we’re happy to refer you to one of our trusted local partners.

We cover Castle Rock to Greeley, Conifer to Aurora, and everything in between. For larger fleets and oilfield clients, we also ship driveshafts and components nationwide.

Yes — and in many cases, they’re better. Unlike mass-produced OEM driveshafts, our rebuilds are straightened, balanced, and precision-finished to minimize vibration and extend service life.

We serve automotive shops, heavy-duty truck dealers, independent repair shops, and oilfield companies including Liberty and Halliburton. Whether it’s a single repair or bulk order, we deliver quality.

You do not need an appointment. You can drop off your driveshaft anytime between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The cost varies depending on what components need to be replaced. We recommend you bring your driveshaft to us to be inspected. We will find out what is wrong with your driveshaft and what needs to be replaced. We will call you with a free estimate and you can decide if you want to fix it.

If you’re in a hurry we can always check to see if we have a new replacement driveshaft in stock for your vehicle. Otherwise, our typical turnaround is about 48 hours.
