What does a driveshaft do in a vehicle?
A driveshaft transfers power from the engine and transmission to the wheels. Without a properly functioning driveshaft, vehicles experience vibrations, noise, or complete loss of power transfer.
How do I know if my driveshaft needs repair or replacement?
Common signs include vibrations at certain speeds, unusual clunking noises, or difficulty turning. If you notice these issues, bring your vehicle to a trusted shop — Rocky Mountain Driveline can provide the rebuilds, replacements, or components your shop needs.
Do you work directly with vehicle owners?
We do not remove or install driveshafts in vehicles. Instead, we work with automotive repair shops, heavy-duty dealers, and fleets to supply or rebuild driveshafts. If you’re a vehicle owner, we’re happy to refer you to one of our trusted local partners.
What areas does Rocky Mountain Driveline serve?
We cover Castle Rock to Greeley, Conifer to Aurora, and everything in between. For larger fleets and oilfield clients, we also ship driveshafts and components nationwide.
Are rebuilt driveshafts as good as OEM?
Yes — and in many cases, they’re better. Unlike mass-produced OEM driveshafts, our rebuilds are straightened, balanced, and precision-finished to minimize vibration and extend service life.
What industries rely on your driveshafts?
We serve automotive shops, heavy-duty truck dealers, independent repair shops, and oilfield companies including Liberty and Halliburton. Whether it’s a single repair or bulk order, we deliver quality.

Such a great shop to work with!! repairs my drive shafts and was a problem with one of them (my vehicle it’s 2 separate parts for the front and the back). they got on the ground and underneath my car to help me figure out what the problem was!! this shop will go above and beyond do to make sure you are all set!! thank you guys for the great customer service u definitely don’t see that type of touch anymore specially from shops. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
Rocky Mountain Driveline has built/modified several driveshafts for me personally over the last few years, and they have always been spot-on. They were even able to rebuild a driveshaft for an older truck that my shop couldn’t get parts for, and kind of saved us from a bad situation. Couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received from them!
